Join us as we celebrate Phillip's fifteen year anniversary as a fine art sculptor.
Phillip was born into the art world and had the privilege of studying under his father,
master sculptor Ken Payne. From a young age he new he wanted to be an artist. With an unmatched imagination and his love of Southwest history his future as an artist was undeniable.
Phillip completed his first sculpture at the young age of 15.
Now 15 years later we celebrate the adventure, the story and the legacy of Phillip Payne
and his family history in the fine art world.
This will also be the one year anniversary of Desert Mountain Fine Art Gallery!
Owned and operated by artists in residence, husband and wife team, Phillip and Gabi Payne.
"Sip and Paint" With a Fine Art Focus - January 20th
Our Sip and Paint is held on the third Saturday of each month from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Come have a great time while learning a little bit more about fine art and how it is made. We talk about real aspects of color theory, value observation and perspective. Each event is designed to cover something a little bit different so just come and have fun! All materials are provided. Only $35 per participant. You will never look at fine art the same way again.
