Artist Reception: April 6th Meet & Greet with nationally renowned Troy Collins. Experience the unique and unforgettable adventurous spirit of Troy’s masterpieces. Troy’s style of painting allows his audience to connect with each painting’s color, texture and design through both vibrant color and the effect that light and shadow have on his subject.
Gather with us and our brilliant festivities to truly experience what its like to be in the artists shoes.
Our Sip and Paint is held on the third Saturday of each month from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Come have a great time while learning a little bit more about fine art and how it is made. We talk about real aspects of color theory, value observation and perspective. Each event is designed to cover something a little bit different so just come and have fun! All materials are provided. Only $35 per participant. You will never look at fine art the same way again.
P.S. Make sure to come in your paint clothes.
We did it! This February is the one year anniversary for Desert Mountain Fine Art Gallery and we are going to celebrate! Phillip and I (Gabi) have spent more time in the gallery then we have at home but it is the best feeling to watch our vision become a reality. Of course, we have some amazing people and artists who believe in us. We could not have done any of this without you. We have met some great people along the way as well. Our favorite part of owning a gallery is the people we get to meet and spending time with the artists. Just earlier today, Sebastian stopped by to say hi and we discussed the fail fast method (we will talk about that in a later post). This kind of thing happens so often and we never want to take it for granted. Our artists have taught us so much about art and changed the way we create.
This February we will also be celebrating Phillip’s fifteen years as a fine art sculptor! Phillip completed his first bronze sculpture at the young age of 15, fast-forward 15 years later and he is still creating and now owning and running his own fine art gallery!
Cheers all around! Hip hip hooray! Happy anniversary Desert Mountain Fine Art Galley and Phillip Payne!
What will we do next? Phillip is always coming up with something brilliant so whatever it is it will be an adventure.
Thanks for reading!
